We were very anxious about this journey due to the many bad reviews from lots of companies. Thankfully our journey with Gili Gili fastboat was smooth. Yes the harbours at either end were incredibly busy but that’s standard when there’s hundreds of people catching their ferries. We travelled from Padang Bai to Gili T, the boat left on time and took 1 hour 45. Check in was smooth and the journey was fine, of course a bit bumpy from the ocean but not that bad at all. There was AC on the boat near us which we benefited from so grab a seat at the front if you can! We were given biscuits, water and then a cold towel to freshen up at the end. We had taken our own but sea sickness tablets were also available if needed. All in all a good journey!
